I think this is better even for children to play with than fashion friends . It's sturdy and has a very comfortable charm. It's a 'feel so good' doll.
A few downsides .... The shoes are less realistic than the wonderful jacket and the skirt. And unlike siblies Sunny, the beret can't be worn, it can only be placed on her head. Anyway I'm happy to have a new lovely Gorjuss, and I'd like to buy other models in the future.

I absolutely love this Gorjuss Le Beret! The dolls are such high-quality. The vinyl is thick and heavy, and the joints are strung. It's wonderful that they can sit and bend their elbows-makes for more expressive posing. The clothing is amazingly detailed- her coat is completely lined. I am an adult collector but would not hesitate to give one of these dolls to a child- they are sturdy enough to withstand play and I think a child would be enchanted by these dolls.
I just got my little Gorjuss Beret and she's adorable! The quality of these dolls is incredible, especially for the price point. The dolls themselves are made a of a heavy, high-quality vinyl, with lovely thick, soft hair. The clothes are amazingly detailed- as well-made as human clothes. The coat, for instance, is completely lines. And the jointed knees and elbows makes for more expressive posing. Although I'm an adult collector- these dolls are so well-made that I wouldn't hesitate to give one to a child. They are sturdy enough to withstand playing with.All-around wonderful dolls! I can't wait to get my next one- I think "Sunshine" is on my list!
These Ruby Red gorjuss dolls are exquisite! They have all the charm of gorjuss whist being a 'doll photographers dream' thanks to their ability to stand unaided (and so steady) and their posability. Their outfits are so detailed and beautifully made with multiple options in the same outfit! Their hair is thick, glossy and beautiful. These dolls are a triumph that I am sure will be treasured by doll lovers and gorjuss fans.
